Doing the "Do" - Nutmeg's 2024 Grooming Seminar

On Sunday, November 17, 2024, Nutmeg PWD Club held a “Doing the DO” grooming seminar.  We had 6 working owner/dog teams and a number of auditors who attended without their dogs. The seminar was taught by Nutmeg member, Alexander Lightfoot Vinopal, who owns and operates her all-breed dog salon, Lightfoot Dog Grooming, out of Higganum, CT and specializes in grooming PWDs for the conformation ring and beyond.

Club member Ginny Cuneo opened her home to the attendees – human and dog. Besides donating the space, she laid out a generous and scrumptious breakfast and lunch.

There was a lot of fur flying but everyone was smiling.  Here’s what some of the attendees had to say:
